It’s time for part two of our #GHDEdgewood project home reveal, and we’re so excited to share more of this beautiful home with you. Today we’ll be diving into the home office and dining room. If you missed part one, be sure to head here and catch up! Keep scrolling to see more.
The Office
Though we loved designing all the rooms in this home, the office is one of our favorites. We love a light filled neutral palette, but were thrilled when our client told us she wanted something dark and moody for her home office. We enlisted the help of our custom cabinet maker to build functional and beautiful cabinetry and sourced an elegant shade of blue to envelope the room. Brass hardware, custom linen roman shades and light wood desk compliment and add contrast to the dark tones. The result is definitely a vibe worth sharing on a zoom call.
The Dining Room
This dining room is the perfect combination of beauty and function. Our client requested a space to host long dinner parties for friends and family and while it feels like a formal space, it’s comfortable enough for lingering. When we began the project, the room was a blank canvas. We added special touches in the form of crisp white wainscoting, wallpaper, upholstered chairs and custom drapery. We think you’ll agree the result is layered, inviting and formal, but not too fussy.
We love the custom touches like the organic grass cloth wallpaper and linen ripple fold drapes.
Up next in our Edgewood project reveal, we’ll be jumping into the primary bedroom and guest bedrooms, including a cute guest room just for the kids you won’t want to miss. If you missed part one, head here to catch up.
